Vakıf Emeklilik in one of the rapidly growing insurance companies in our country providing individual pension plans and life insurance. Company was founded in 1991 and gathered its license for Individual Pension in 2003 now is a major player in Individual Pension System.

What was the need of Vakıf Emeklilik?

Vakıf Emeklilik was planning to use an intranet which should reflect its visual codes in order to enhance in-house communication. Since it has 800 employees the other objective was to speed up in-house communication. To strengthen ties between field force and departments was very important.

Vakıf Emeklilik In-house Communication Platform and Corporate Social Network Platform we developed by SIMTERNET on SharePoint 2013 infrastructure.

What was the solution of SIMTERNET?

SIMTERNET used ready to use intranet templates according to the preferences of Vakıf Emeklilik. Corporate color codes ve values have been taken into consideration and design was compatible with mobile devices. Vakıf Emeklilik choose to use many Communication modules like News, Flash News, Birthdays, New Comers and Service Routes.

A social network was developed for 800 employees of the company, in this platform users can add articles, videos and pictures, all contents have comment, share and like features.

Simternet team have developed a scoring engine, a system was developed which automatically scores every user movement on the portal. Individual scoring provided for content addition, like and sharing. SIMTERNET, ground breaking solution provider for in-house communication platforms have aimed to increase motivations of the employees by using scoring system.

Result:

VEPort and VESocial in-house communication and social networks of Vakıf Emeklilik gathered great participation. In-house communication speed increased and employees motivated by the scoring system rapidly embraced social network features (like, comment, follow, share). Since employees will qualify to attend “Leadership Workshop Training” at the end of the year according to the scores they have, portal usage rate increased by 70% when compared to previous periods.
